It is the fence line between the subdivisions of Spitrail and Fletcher's Park. Specifically, the fence line between parcel 04327-000-000 owned by John and Gail Curtis and the parcel to the south 04328-010-012 owned by Legacy Property Development. I own the lot in Splitrail that is north of the small strip of land owned by John and Gail Curtis. The small strip is about 15' wide and goes the length of the south side of my lot, it then end and then Spitrail and Fletcher's Park share a common boundary.
Description:
When the Fletchers Park subdivision was built around 7 years ago they were required to build a 6 foot high wooden fence to be a buffer between the larger lots in Splitrail and the smaller lots in Fletchers Park. The fence has fallen down in the back corner and is beginning to lean in several other places. By the look of the 4x4 posts, that are completely rotten, it looks like they did not use pressure treated lumber that was meant for use below ground. I would like the fence repaired. Please explain why code enforcement officers give prefential treatment to some and not to others. It was known to the code enforement officer that an after the fact permit was being worked on and obtained but yet we were sent to the CEB. In looking at the code violations, please explain why there are code violations that are over a year old (September, October & November of 2012) and have not been sent to the CEB.

Two large fuel drums are laying on the ground (200-250 gallons near his trailer.
There is a shed that has been under construction for over two years, it is not finished and already appears to be falling down.
Owner brings a flat bed trailer with trees and debris from his business to the property, where he has a burn pile set up on one corner near CR 241.
There has been a pole barn under construction on the back side of the property for at least a year.
He is also slowly knocking down the large oaks on the property to make room for his heavy equipment.

About five months ago a huge pine tree branch from a 100 ft pine tree fell, hitting the side of our rented mobile home and causing damage that went completely through our home and causing damage to the inside bathroom walls. Pictures were taken and a complaint was made to the office but nothing was done. Two months ago at approximately 2:30 in the morning a bigger, much wider branch (about 10ft tall) fell from the top of the tree and crashed into my home and the neighbor's home directly behind us. Pictures were taken, which show the major damage caused by the tree. The community illegally removed the 100ft pine, tree as it is protected, instead of trimming the tree properly. As of today, the neighbor's house has a huge hole through it and the debris left behind (metal siding) has been left there. After threatening to pursue this matter legally, the office came out and patched up the outside hole on my trailer but left the inside damaged. The neighbor's house has had nothing done and several complaints to the office have been ignored. The neighbors have three small children and it is an unsafe environment to live in. I typed up several complaints, making copies of each document, stating that this was unacceptable. My last letter stated that rent was going to be withheld as my tenant rights (Title VI/83.51) are being violated. This has caused both of our electric bills to rise significantly. After promising to fix the situation, the manager of Hidden Oaks, Jim, filed an eviction against us. This situation is just one of many problems and the metal sidings are hazardous to the children and adults living around the debris. I have contacted YES Corporation, the owners of the property but they have not responded. If the branch would have fallen during the summer day when all the children were home, it would have killed anyone it landed on. I have taken pictures of the many trees in the community showing that the trees are not trimmed or maintained and if and when a big enough storm comes through, many people will be without a place to live. The office trimmed the trees in the front to make it look like they are keeping the property clean and maintained but it is just for show. Something needs to be done about this.

The owner of this property has a red Ford Mustang drag strip racer that he frequently runs and tunes, producing incredible noise. This is a legitimate racing, unmuffled vehicle that he races at drag strips. He typically keeps the drag racer in the stand alone garage structure.
