Neighborhood Stabilization Program (Round #3, NSP3)
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was established thru the Housing & Economic Recovery Act of 2008 in an effort to combat some of the challenges associated with a declining economy and escalating foreclosure rates. After successfully obligating $2.9 million dollars in the first round of NSP, Alachua County was invited to apply for the third round of NSP to continue acquiring and rehabilitating single family units in a HUD approved designated target area..

NSP#3 Additional Information.
Alachua County is currently waiting on the NSP3 Contract from DCA (Department of Community Affairs) before it can proceed. The anticipated date for the kick-off of this program is estimated to be at the beginning of 2012. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
