History of Santa Fe

Virtual Tour

With the coming of the railroad, this became a shipping point for farm produce. A post office was established in August of 1900. Edwin L. Blitch, the first postmaster, settled here in the 1890's. He owned the general store which housed the post office. Santa Fe continues to be a center for agricultural activity with a packing house and post office.
