The Current Comprehensive Plan
To acquire a full-text electronic copy of the currently effective Comprehensive Plan (adopted in 1991), save this zip file to your local hard drive. You will then need the WinZip application to uncompress the WordPerfect files.
A copy of the general goals, objectvies, and policies for element of the Plan is also available in .pdf file format (see list below). To view these files, you should have the Adobe Reader installed on your computer.
For a detailed Table of Contents, including section headings, a list of tables, maps, and figures, and Monitoring and Evaluation Procedures for each Element by page number, see the Table of Contents for each chapter. For detail on portions of each Element adopted by Ordinance 91-17 see separate Exhibit sheets in from of each Element.

The County has adopted an Updated Comprehensive Plan which will not be effective until the pending legal challenge is finally resolved.
